The PS15 uses a 15-inch long-excursion neodymium low-frequency driver and a high-frequency compression driver with a 2-inch throat and 3-inch titanium diaphragm. This gives the speaker the output and clarity needed for vocals, instruments, playback, worship sound, DJ systems, and live event reinforcement.
This speaker is built for situations where speech and vocals must cut through clearly without sounding thin. Its wide frequency response and high peak SPL make it suitable for churches, event halls, live bands, conferences, clubs, and outdoor PA setups where both volume and intelligibility matter.
The PS15 cabinet can be used as a main front-of-house top speaker, a stage monitor, a side fill, or an installed loudspeaker. Its rotatable asymmetrical horn allows the coverage pattern to be adapted depending on how the cabinet is positioned, which makes it useful in both horizontal and vertical setups.
The PS15 supports internally switchable passive or active operation. In passive mode, it runs as an 8-ohm loudspeaker. In active mode, the low-frequency and high-frequency sections are driven separately, giving more precise control when used with compatible NEXO processing and amplification.
The speaker uses a constant-directivity asymmetrical dispersion horn with 50° to 100° horizontal coverage and 55° vertical coverage. This helps the system cover an audience more evenly instead of throwing too much sound into one area and leaving other areas weak.
The PS15 is built from Baltic birch plywood with a textured black coating, moulded dark grey metal grille, recessed metal handles, flying points, and an integrated 35mm steel stand fitting. This makes it suitable for rental use, mobile event setups, stage work, venue installations, and permanent PA systems.
Although the PS15 has strong output for a top speaker, music-heavy systems will normally benefit from pairing it with subwoofers. For DJs, bands, churches with full worship teams, and event companies, using subs allows the PS15 to focus on clean midrange and high-frequency projection while the subwoofer handles the low-end weight.
The NEXO PS15 fits well in churches, clubs, live band systems, DJ rigs, theatres, conferences, school halls, event venues, rental PA systems, and installed sound setups. It is especially useful where one speaker needs to handle both powerful front-of-house duties and stage monitor flexibility.
